A reception typically lasts five to six hours from the time the first guests walk in the door until the last ones walk off the dance floor.  86% of your wedding day is spent at the reception hall under the direction of the wedding DJ.  Do you want to trust this to an inexperienced, cut rate disc jockey service?  Probably not.  We want your reception entertainment to be a huge success that you, your family, and friends will remember for years to come.
 
When you hire JB Sound & Lighting, you are not only hiring a DJ, but also your own personal coordinator as well.  Our DJ’s are working behind the scenes with the caterer, photographer, and the venue staff members as well to make sure everything is where it should be and ready to go for you.
 
Our show includes background dinner music, and dance music for as long as the party lasts.*  We guarantee to have the Bride & Grooms first dance, the Father/Daughter, Mother/Son dance, and the Wedding Party dance songs in our library.  We carry cordless microphone so your best man can give his toast right from the head table & everyone can hear him.  We announce the opening of the buffet line, Best Man’s first toast, cutting of the cake and anything else that the crowd may need to know.  We also get everyone involved in the bouquet and garter toss!  Your DJ also shows up dressed for the occasion in a 3 peice tuxedo!
 
We are also able to play big band era waltzes & polkas, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, & 80’s, classic rock, disco, dance, top 40 and country.  We “read the crowd” and play music that’s appealing to their musical tastes.
